Sometimes you ride the magic.
Sometimes you find a spot along the curb and let the magic come to you.
For this installment of Let’s Watch, we’re spending some time at Disneyland for a complete viewing of the Magic Happens Parade.
There’s something uniquely special about a Disney parade.
Long before the first float arrives, you can feel the atmosphere of the park begin to change. Guests start lining the streets. Kids find their places along the curb. Music can be heard approaching in the distance.
For a few moments, everyone stops worrying about where they’re going next.
And then the magic comes around the corner.
Magic Happens celebrates those transformative moments that have defined generations of Disney storytelling—the moments when something impossible suddenly becomes possible.
Led by Mickey Mouse, the parade brings together characters and stories from across the Disney universe through elaborate floats, colorful costumes, music, dancing, and all the theatrical spectacle you’d expect to find rolling through the heart of Disneyland.
But as impressive as the production itself may be, our favorite part of experiences like this has always been everything happening around it.
The excitement of seeing that first float appear.
Watching families experience it together.
Recognizing a favorite character.
Hearing a familiar piece of music.
And simply standing in the middle of Disneyland thinking…
We’re here.
That’s why Let’s Watch has become such a natural extension of Let’s Ride.
Our Disney memories aren’t limited to attractions.
They’re parades.
They’re fireworks.
They’re shows.
They’re performers.
They’re those unexpected moments when you stop walking toward the next destination and allow yourself to simply experience where you already are.
Those moments deserve a place in the archive too.
So find yourself a spot along the parade route, settle in, and spend a little time at Disneyland with us.
Sometimes you go looking for the magic.
Sometimes the magic comes to you.
