At its core, The Counter Kingdom is a reimagining of some of the most iconic Disney Parks songs ever created but filtered through punk, hardcore, metalcore, and alternative styles.
Not as novelty covers.
Not as parody.
But as something honest.
Something that takes the structure, melody, and emotional core of these songs and translates them into a completely different sonic world.
Because the truth is these songs were always built for it.
Big hooks.
Simple, powerful melodies.
Choruses meant to be sung by crowds.
That’s punk. That’s hardcore. That’s pop punk.
The DNA has always been there.

For me, this project comes from two places that have always existed side by side:
- A deep love for Disney Parks and the experiences they create
- A lifelong connection to punk, hardcore, and alternative music
On the surface, those worlds couldn’t feel more different.
But underneath?
They’re built on the same foundation:
- Emotion
- Energy
- Community
- Shared experience
A packed crowd singing along at a hardcore show isn’t that different from a crowd watching fireworks at the end of a long day in the park.
Both moments are about connection.

A Day in the Counter Kingdom isn’t just a collection of songs it’s structured like a full park experience.
You start on Main Street U.S.A., stepping into something familiar.
You move through imagination, optimism, and nostalgia.
Then things shift.
The tone darkens. The energy changes. The world feels a little more chaotic.
By the time you reach the end, you’ve gone through something and the finale hits differently because of it.
