Introducing Black Lagoon Breaker: A Coastal Horror Tribute
We’re excited to unveil our latest design for Legacy Club Clo.: the Black Lagoon Breaker. This design pays homage to classic horror and Universal Movie Monsters, combined with my upbringing in the coastal towns of Ocean Beach and Point Loma in San Diego, CA.
Inspiration Behind Black Lagoon Breaker
Inspired by my love for horror and the legendary Universal Movie Monsters, Black Lagoon Breaker blends the eerie mystique of these iconic creatures with the serene yet powerful imagery of the ocean. Growing up on the water in San Diego, I’ve always been captivated by the ocean’s beauty and mystery, and I wanted to infuse that into this design.
Design Process
Creating Black Lagoon Breaker involved merging two of my greatest influences: the chilling atmosphere of classic horror films and the vibrant coastal life of San Diego. Starting with detailed sketches, we worked to balance the monstrous elements with oceanic motifs. Our team focused on achieving a seamless blend, experimenting with textures and colors to capture the essence of both horror and the sea.

This design marries these worlds, creating a unique piece that embodies the fearsome allure of the deep sea and the timeless appeal of classic horror.
